Realisation
Clem and I walked into an Anglo-Chinese restaurant two nights ago. We picked it because it seemed to be slightly more asian than the other Chinese restaurants in the town we were in. We sat down, realising Clem was the only person of Chinese heritage other than the waiters in the place and ordered tea. When the tea was delivered, we both glanced down and really saw our table for the first time. For the first time ever, I went to a Chinese restaurant where there were no chopsticks on the table...

What has the world come to?
Many of our local restaurants have spoons and forks not chopsticks on the tables.
